TC1D water-activated energy cells are the environmentally friendly energy sources for the AquaFlash and AquaTac (model 2023) flashlights.
HydraCell energy cells have many advantages over other technologies, especially over conventional alkaline batteries, as well as over kerosene and oil for lighting.
HydraCell energy cells generate their own energy through activation, unlike conventional batteries, which lose energy immediately after production and during storage.
The HydraCell energy cells can be stored in their original sealed packaging for over 25 years without any loss of energy before activation. Once water-activated, HydraCell energy cells offer a significantly longer service life (up to 60 hours).
The natural, 100% biodegradable minerals in HYDRACELL energy cells are consumed during use. Disposal does not result in soil contamination, as is the case with conventional batteries, which release chemical substances into the earth for decades. The casing of our energy cells is fully recyclable, and the ingredients are completely harmless and non-toxic.
Simply immersing the HydraCell energy cell in water for 10-15 seconds moistens the salt-impregnated bridge layers, creating a connection between the magnesium core and the oxygen in the air. This initiates an electrochemical reaction that in turn releases electrons. The cathode of the carbon membrane collects them and converts them into usable energy.
If energy cells are sealed and stored dry, new Energy cells can be kept and stored for over 25 years without any loss of energy. When you need them, you simply unpack them, immerse them in water for 10-15 seconds and use them immediately at full capacity and power. RIP - DIP - SHINE.
After their initial activation, H ydraCell energy cells have voltage available at all times and only require occasional reactivation for continuous use.
In emergencies, H ydraCell Energy cells can be activated and reactivated in any type of liquid (rain, stream, sea, tap and even dirty water) that is not oil-based.
