HydraCells AquaTac is the compact, eco-friendly aluminum LED flashlight with light ring that is powered by water-activated TC1D cells. TC1D energy cells have a far longer runtime and durability than conventional leading disposable alkaline batteries. Biodegradable ingredients and a recyclable plastic housing make the TC1D energy cell the better choice for a smarter, cleaner and more sustainable future.

The bright, long-lasting Cree LED provides an intense beam of light in flashlight mode. The continuously adjustable lens enables both a focused beam of light and a wider beam of light. The 360° LED light ring illuminates areas and surfaces all around.

Ideal for everyday use, survival kits, emergencies and power outages, and your next outdoor adventure. TC1D energy cells are simply dipped in water for a few seconds to activate and provide hours of light output from the AquaTac.

A single TC1D power cell delivers superior total runtime of over 60 hours*, comparable to the performance of over 15 AA premium alkaline batteries.

Simply immersing the HydraCell energy cell in water for 10-15 seconds moistens the salt-impregnated bridge layers, creating a connection between the magnesium core and the oxygen in the air. This initiates an electrochemical reaction that in turn releases electrons. The cathode of the carbon membrane collects them and converts them into usable energy.

If energy cells are sealed and stored dry, new energy cells can be kept and stored for over 25 years without any loss of energy. When they are needed, you simply unpack them, immerse them in water for 10-15 seconds, and use them immediately at full capacity and power. RIP - DIP - SHINE.

After their initial activation, H ydraCell energy cells have voltage available at all times and only require occasional re-activation for continued use.

In emergency situations, H ydraCell energy cells can be activated and reactivated in any type of liquid (rain, stream, sea, tap and even waste water) that is not oil-based.
